Why I Love That You Have a Girlfriend?

Because I can love you, and it doesn’t change a thing in your world.

Because you can inspire me, without ever owning me.

Because I can dream of you, without breaking my dreams with dull reality.

Because sharing a smoke can be so erotic.

Because I’ll never reach you, know you, kiss you, but still I can love you.

Because I love you, without you loving me.

Because I can love you in my own way.

Because I would die for you.

But, what if you didn’t have a girlfriend?. Do you think that in some parallel universe, we could get on. I mean, maybe a year ago, in this universe, I didn’t have GE by my side. What if when you kissed me hello, I had fallen in love with you and ask you out. Are we together in another universe? Did we had a fight and broke up? Are we still friends after the break up?  Did we drown in the Titanic? Did we never meet? Who really knows. But I love the fact that you have a girlfriend in this universe, because I know you, and you know me. And we are friends and share a smoke once in a while. That’s enough my love. I know this may sound a little mean, a little dark, but, I also love that you have a girlfriend because she is, afterall, just a girlfriend. Even if you two end up getting married, she would be still just the lady of your life. Seeing you happy is just more than enough, no matter who makes you happy!
