The Empty Spaces

Silence… Silence is golden… gold is so vain. Yet silence is not vain, it is empty. But it is the emptiness from which I feed. Silence is an structure, much more as noise. Silence is the never ending noise. It is the longest scream ever. We can say the same about vacuum and space. They are a structure too. They are the structure that defines our world. We live in a world of vacuum and empty spaces. So… once the space is there, once the vacuum is contained within our walls, how do we employ it to feel less empty?

Should we stuff it with thing we like, or that are harmonious with the space? Shall we build into it, to make it more interesting? Why not fill it with light? Or with love? Even better, why not with both? Why fill the emptiness in our hearts and souls with worthless and pointless objects that just become a mask to hide how alone we are. Because you can’t have ornaments and walls when you want to fill a space with love or light. Objects will cast a shadow. And the brighter the light, the darker the shadow. Love can not be adorned to make it look better. Love is just love, and you can hide and lie, but if love needs ornaments and distractions to exist, well, I guess it is not really love.

To fulfill us with light and love, we need empty spaces, spaces that are clean and pure. So they can be flooded with the magic from the heart. Lucky for us, there is always new rooms to build and fill. My heart is a room of light. I only want to adorn it with love.

I love you.
